Mark Hensel and SigAll are invited to a 1 Book 1 Valley program on Thursday, October 4 at 7 pm in the library’s John F. Chick Meeting Room. NH Fish & Game Conservation Officer Mark Hensel will talk about the use of canines for search and rescue in New Hampshire’s forests.

This year’s 1 Book 1 Valley title is Lisa Gardner’s Love You More, which includes a canine search and rescue scene as part of the action. Copies of the book are available to borrow at the library.

This presentation is free and open to the public. K9 Sig will accompany Officer Hensel to this program. If Officer Hensel and K9 Sig are called to an emergency, event will be cancelled or postponed. Call before heading out (367-8545) or check online to see that it’s on as scheduled.
