With very little snow this winter, snowman makers have had to get creative. This week, we had a vacation storytime featuring silly snowmen stories and this snowman craft, made out of a sock filled with rice.

Join the Friends of Madison Library on Thursday, February 11 at 7 pm in the library’s Chick Room. Local author Peter Pinkham, who wrote both the recently-published thriller Killer Mountain and its prequel Hidden Mountain, will speak about his inspiration
Trick or treat
About a dozen children stopped by the library on October 31st. Treats were handed out by Mary, Leonora, Sloane, and Dorothy, so those who stopped were treated well. See more photos on the library’s flickr page.
