Our town highway department has done a fine job keeping our parking lot clear this winter despite the frequent snow storms. One person who stopped in the library this week said our parking lot was the best plowed of all she had visited during a day of running errands. We believe we have one of the most accessible parking lots of any library in the area, thanks for that go to the Town of Madison highway agent and road crew.

Hear, hear! It’s getting to be rather daunting getting around these days, so a well-plowed parking lot or driveway is appreciated. It is getting smaller and smaller though. I’d love to see a loader and dump truck come and take a lot of the snow back there away.
