Library of Congress photoThis winter’s weather has been challenging, to say the least. If you need a reason to venture out, here’s what’s going on this week:

Book group, Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 7 pm in the library. We’re going to discuss Geraldine Brooks’ Caleb’s Crossing. You don’t have to have read the book to participate, refreshments.

“Old Time Stories from the Valley”, Thursday, Jan. 30 at 7 pm in the John F. Chick meeting room. Friends of Madison Library welcome Gloria Aspinall for this trip down memory lane. More refreshments! (Snow date is a week later.)

Drop-in tech help: Tuesday from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Got a computer question? Stop in and ask.

Story time: Friday at 10 am. Plus, plenty of space to stay and play in our children’s room after story time.

“Take your child to the library” day: Saturday, February 1, 9 am to 1 pm. Listen to stories, make a Groundhog Day craft, sign up for a library card, bring outgrown books for a book swap.
