- Stop in this month to check out our display of recommended fiction and films about veterans. (See a list here.) We’ve also included some resource books for veterans and their families.
- This month our book group will read Laura Hillenbrand’s Unbroken, the story of Louis Zamperini’s remarkable journey from Olympic athlete to WWII Bombardier to P.O.W. to veteran. The book club will meet on Monday, November 25 at 7 pm. Copies of the book are available to borrow now at the library.
- The Madison Library will be closed on Monday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day.
- On Veterans’ Day, at 9 am, a new section of the Madison Veterans Monument will be dedicated. The Monument is located in front of Madison’s Town Hall. Please join community members, local veterans, members of the Monument Committee for this event.
