The Friends of Madison Library have received a grant from the New Hampshire Humanities Council to present an illustrated talk by Maggie Stier, “The Old Man of the Mountain: Substance and Symbol,” on Thursday, June 27, at 7 pm in the John F. Chick Room.
The audience is invited to bring souvenirs, memorabilia or other artifacts of the Old Man of the Mountain for a shared display before and after the presentation, and to share their own experiences and memories on this topic.
This program is free and open to the public, and refreshments will follow the presentation.
