National Poetry Month is well under way. There are tons of online resources, from the Library of Congress to the Academy of American Poets to the Poetry Foundation. These sites are rich resources for poetry lovers and learners, but a bite at a time can be easier to swallow. For the month of April, you can find one poem by a NH poet posted each day at the NH Center for the Book blog, and at Gregory K’s GottaBook blog, you can read one previously unpublished children’s poem each day. The month started off with a poem by kid favorite Jack Prelutsky. You may also sign up to have a poem emailed to you each day during April at poets.org’s Poem-a-Day.
