Check out our new telescope!

The Madison Library has added an Orion Starblast 4.5” reflector telescope to its collection thanks to a generous donation to the NH Astronomical Society in honor of Silver Lake Postmaster Susan Stowbridge. Library cardholders will be able to check out the sturdy, tabletop telescope and gaze at the stars and planets from home.

Cut the Carbon kits now available

The Madison Library has received two “Cut the Carbon” kits from nhsaves, a partnership of NH electric utility companies. The kits contain a Kill-A-Watt meter, instructions on how to use the meter, and brochures with energy saving tips. Check out a kit to try out at home today.

New Hours start in January

To better serve commuters and families with school-age children, we will shift our hours starting January 1, 2010. The new hours will be: Monday, 2 to 5; Tuesday, 10 to 6; Wednesday and Thursday, 2 to 7; Friday 10 to 6; and Saturday 9 to 1.
