Project: Interior Renovations to Improve Customer Service, Volunteer Program, and Public Work Space
If you have any questions about this project, please feel free to stop in the library and ask or call 367-8545.
Project Start Date: November 2014, this should take about a week. We are going to do our best to stay open during the renovations. This may mean providing public access to computers and copier/printer/fax in our meeting room, with selected items from our collections temporarily moved downstairs. Staff will be able to retrieve any item we have at your request.
THANK YOU to Madison voters who passed the following Warrant Article on March 15, 2014:
“To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of Fourteen Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($14,500.00) for interior renovations at the Madison Library to include relocation, renovation, and construction of service desk, shelving, and computer work stations. Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) will come from funds administered by Madison Library Board of Trustees, Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) will come from Friends of Madison Library, with the balance of Eight Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($8,500.00) to be raised by general taxation, less amount of any grants received for the project.”
