Volunteer firefighter and Selectman Michael Brooks was kind enough to come to the library this morning to find the vent stack, which involved a roof rake, a ladder, some climbing, and digging snow out of the pipe by hand. The snow on the roof had completely covered the vent pipe and sewer gas was backing up in the building.
