We encourage you to try out downloaded audio books. There are over 10,000 titles to borrow from NH Downloadable Books.
How we will help:
- We will give you a lesson (as often as you want/need).
- We will lend you an MP3 player, plus an FM transmitter that lets you listen in your car (for cars with no MP3 jack).
- Not interested in learning how to download? We will do it for you. Let us know your favorite authors and genres, and we will load one of our MP3 players with a selection of audiobooks for you, three titles at a time.

- Average cost per use for our audio books on CD in 2012: $5.00
- Cost per use for downloaded audiobooks in 2012: $0.70
Audio books on CD accounted for 4% of our checkouts in 2012. If we spend 4% of our 2013 materials budget on audio books on CD, we can purchase about 1 each month.
