A small project to add a landing and steps to the front (street side) door of the library in order to provide safe access to an outdoor seating area has turned into another thing altogether. Apparently, moisture has been seeping into the wood under the glass door and windows for years, resulting in the rotten mess that you see in the picture. Thanks to John Neal for uncovering the problem, which will need to be fixed.
