In 2014, the Friends’ book sales were reorganized and are now offered monthly in a dedicated space at the library.

Book sales are held May through October on the third Saturday of each month from 9 am to noon. Use the library’s John F. Chick Room entrance.

The Friends could use more volunteers to help with the monthly sales. Contact them at fomlibrary.nh@gmail.com to get more information about volunteering.

The Friends of Madison Library will happily accept donations of books for their sales throughout the year. Please bring donations to the library during library hours. Please do not leave items outside and do not place them in the library’s book drop.

We will accept:

  • Books, hardcover and paperback, in good condition. No musty, mildewy or moldy books, please!
  • Audio Books on CD only
  • Videos on DVD or Blu-ray only

We cannot accept:

  • Magazines
  • Textbooks of any kind
  • Encyclopedias or dictionaries
  • Condensed books or self-help books
  • VHS tapes and cassette tapes
