US Poet Laureate

The Library of Congress has named NH poet Donald Hall the next Poet Laureate. We’ve got a lot of Mr. Hall’s published work at the library (look for a display soon) and there’s also some online. Ox-Cart Man is one of my favorite children’s stories, with beautifully fitting illustrations by Barbara Cooney, and when Lorne Greene reads it on PBS’s Reading Rainbow program, it’s just perfect.
