dispelling a myth

Regardless of what you may see on various “haunted places” websites, Madison’s Ward Hill is not the former site of a mental hospital that is haunted when there is a full moon. No source here or at the historical society has any information about this–sources that include local folks whose families have lived in town for generations. I guess you could call it a “rural myth.”
