New this week: Lincoln Lawyer, Michael Connelly’s new legal thriller. You may remember him as the author of the Harry Bosch mysteries set in LA, but he’s tried something new this time, earning some excellent reviews. Also added are Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman, Wedding in December by Anita Shreve, and City of Falling Angels by John Berendt, who wrote Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, which examined the mysteries, the people, and the peculiarities of Savannah, Georgia. City takes a similar close look at Venice, Italy.

New books for a rainy weekend
