Six new videos this month, all DVDs: Sin City, visually arresting and brutal, based on Frank Miller’s comics; Empire Falls, HBO’s adaptation of Richard Russo’s Pulitzer Prize winning novel; To Kill a Mockingbird, a 2-disk Legacy Series Edition with interviews with Harper Lee and Gregory Peck among the extra features; Fever Pitch, for fans of romantic comedy and the Red Sox; The Storyteller Collection, nine episodes from Jim Henson’s creative HBO series that are reminiscent of Tolkien fantasy, recommended for families with children over 8; and for the little ones, They Might Be Giants–Here Come the ABCs featuring the title band and their hip, exuberant presentation of the alphabet.
