New fiction just added: Lifeguard by James Patterson and Andrew Gross; Chill Factor by Sandra Brown; In the Province of the Saints by Thomas O’Malley; The Tea-Olive Bird Watching Society by Augusta Trobaugh. New young adult novels are both long-awaited sequels: Rebel Angels by Libba Bray, sequel to A Great and Terrible Beauty; and Eldest by Christopher Paolini, sequel to his fantasy novel Eragon. New non-fiction includes Roving Mars: Spirit, Opportunity, and the Exploration of the Red Planet by Steve Squyres, and Shock Wave: Countdown to Hiroshima by Stephen Walker which describes the three weeks leading up to the first war-time use of an atomic weapon. For reviews on any of these books, I recommend Barnes and Noble or Powells, both have good synopses and reviews from well-known book review journals such as Booklist, Kirkus, Library Journal, and Publishers Weekly.
