Does Madison want/need a community email message board like Tamworth’s Tamworth Exchange or Sandwich’s Sandwich Board? And if so, how do we want it to work?
Come to a community meeting at the library on Thursday, September 11 at 6:30 pm to discuss the possibilities.
Discussion will include:
- Experiences with other message boards (good, bad, what works, what doesn’t)
- Difference between message board and social media
- Do we want to try this out in Madison?
If yes:
- Set up: Yahoo, Google, or other?
- Name of Group?
- Guidelines for participation
- Volunteer moderators
- Promoting to local residents
