On Wednesday, April 24 at 2 pm, local author Diane Clark will give a book talk and signing for her book Choosing to Forgive: Growing Up with an Alcoholic Parent.
Diane Clark grew up in the little village of Pulaski, New York with an alcoholic father. She found it in her heart to forgive her father after eighteen years of turmoil, arguments and frightening moments and sometimes violence. This book is her memoir of those eighteen years, but more than that, it is a story of trauma and of hope, of a willingness to love the one who had caused so much pain, and how the act of forgiving was the key that unlocked the chains that bound her.
Diane will have copies of her book available for sale and signing.
