This week is the beginning of the end of our Dream Big – READ! Summer Reading Program. Kids, stop in and pick up or print out a Reading Journal for Week 7 (the last one for this summer).
We’re going big with the “dream” theme this week! Children 4 and up are invited to hear stories about dreams and make a dreamcatcher on Wednesday, August 8 at 4 pm. Then, at 6 pm on August 8, Matt Krug will tell some “Stories behind the Stars” in the library’s Chick Room, a family event sponsored by the Friends of Madison Library.
For children, Friday, August 10 is the last day to bring in Reading Journals and Reading Logs (the list of books you read from June 20-August 10). In order to be eligible for prizes at the wrap-up party on August 15, three out of the six Reading Journals need to be turned in, plus a Reading Log.
For adults and teens, Friday, August 10 is the last day to submit book reviews.
