While Madison didn’t suffer the flooding that other local communities did, we’re providing this information for Madison residents who may have had some individual losses due to flooding or for people who know someone in an affected area:

President Obama made a declaration of a major disaster for New Hampshire in the counties of Carroll and Grafton due to Hurricane Irene and flooding associated with the storm. To find out if you qualify and/or to apply for Federal Disaster Relief, visit disasterassistance.gov.
