The Madison Library is not the only busy place in town this summer. Summer visitors and residents will notice a freshly painted fire station (thanks to town voters) with a shiny new sign (thanks to funds raised by the fire and rescue department).

The community garden at Burke Field has been planned, built, and planted in a short few months thanks to the leadership of Ray O’Brien and the MWV Green Team, with help from volunteers. Community members were able to rent a plot in the garden for $25 for the season. The Green Team has posted a slideshow showing it being built.

Summer Recreation programs for children start next week, so look out for children as they walk from the school to Burke Field and to the library. More info about Madison Rec programs is available at the Town Office.
