This interesting moth was parked on the library porch for quite a while this morning. I think it may be a sphinx moth, possibly a Northern Pine Sphinx Moth, but I’m not sure as I cannot find a good photograph in any of the books here or online. It’s about three inches from wing tip to wing tip, about as big as the luna moths we see here this time of year, too. If anyone knows for sure what this is, please let me know.
