1 Book, 1 Valley, the big area-wide book discussion series starts now and runs through the end of October with book discussions in 12 local communities, interesting programs on Native New Hampshire and New Hampshire history, a fancy luncheon, and a presentation by the author. All programs, except the luncheon, are free. So, be sure to pick up a copy of The Old American by New Hampshire author Ernest Hebert at the library, start reading and learn a bit about this fascinating chapter in New Hampshire’s history and talk about it with your friends and neighbors.
