May Day and new dvds

We have a display up at the library all about getting outdoors–books on walking, gardening, baseball, canoeing–but when you’re all tuckered out, we’ve also got some new movies to relax with: The Queen, Helen Mirren won best actress Oscar for this one; Last King of Scotland, with Oscar-winning performance by Forest Whitaker; Children of Men, who many agree was overlooked at this year’s Oscars–check it out and let us know what you think; Yesterday, moving story of a South African woman and her daughter and how AIDS affected their lives; and for family viewing, Charlotte’s Web and Night at the Museum.
