Ever thought about joining a book discussion group, but haven’t? Here’s a chance to be involved in a multi-community book discussion right here in the Mount Washington Valley and surrounding areas. 1 book, 1 valley, a program being planned for months by area librarians and book-minded business people, is ready to go. We’re going to discuss Howard Frank Mosher’s A Stranger in the Kingdom several ways: in book groups at libraries and other locations throughout the area, and then, on November 9th, in valley-wide events with the author. People who aren’t regular library visitors or book group goers are especially encouraged to participate; there’s safety in numbers, after all. Check out this wiki to see a full list of what’s going on, and stop by the library to borrow a copy of the book.
