Get ready, April 12th (Beverly Cleary’s 90-something birthday) is “drop everything and read” day. Keep checking the library’s website, I’m going to try to come up with a good community activity to go along with it. And, if you have any ideas, please let me know.

UPDATE: Visit the library on the way home from school or work for a family (even if it’s just you) read-together and predinner snack. On Wednesday, April 12th from 5 to 6 pm at the library, we’ll read a chapter or two from a favorite Beverly Cleary book. (My favorite is Ramona the Pest.)

DROP EVERYTHING AND READ!
