The Road to Dalton by Shannon Bowring

Our annual series will culminate with an evening with Shannon Bowring, author of The Road to Dalton on Thursday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the Majestic Theatre, 34 Main Street in Conway Village. American Sign Language interpretation will be provided. This event will also be livestreamed.

The Road to Dalton is Bowring’s first novel and the sequel, Where the Forest Meets the River, was published in September. At the event, Shannon Bowring will begin in conversation with Laura Cummings of White Birch Books, and discuss what inspired her writing, why she chose to set her novels in The County, and what she’s reading. There will also be time for audience questions and discussion. 

There is no admission fee or tickets required to attend the in-person presentation, though donations toward next year’s program are welcome. A cash bar will be available in the Majestic Theatre lobby from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Following the program White Birch Books will host a book signing with the author, and will have copies of Bowring’s books for sale.
