BOOK SALE DONATIONS

For Friends of Madison Library Book Sales

NEW PROCEDURES

Donations of books for the Friends’ monthly book sales (May to October) are welcomed when volunteers are present to accept and sort them. Starting on August 7, 2019, books may be dropped off in the Chick Room on the 1st and 2nd Wednesday of the month between the hours of 2pm and 4pm, or by special prior arrangement. Call 367-8545. Please do not drop books off upstairs in the library. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please do not leave books outside and do not place them in the library book drop.

 

ITEMS HAPPILY ACCEPTED:

  • Books, hardcover and paperback, in good condition. Please no musty smelling or water damaged books! We cannot sell them.
  • Audio books on CD only.
  • Videos on DVD or Blu-ray only.

ITEMS we cannot accept:

  • Magazines
  • Textbooks of any kind
  • Encyclopedias or dictionaries
  • Condensed books or self-help books
  • VHS tapes and cassette tapes
  • Smelly, moldy, chewed or water damaged books
