Discovering New England Stone Walls
Thursday, April 16 at 7 pm in the John F. Chick Room at the Madison Library.
Presenter Kevin Gardner explains how and why New England came to acquire its thousands of miles of stone walls, the way in which they were constructed, how the styles have changed over the years and why we are so fascinated with them. During the presentation, Gardner will construct a miniature stone wall on a table top using tiny stones.
A New Hampshire Humanities Council program sponsored by The Friends of Madison Library and The Madison Garden Club.
All are welcome, free.
