Please come to a NH Humanities Council program, “Not in Front of the Children: The Art and Importance of Fairy Tales” on Thursday, March 21 at 7 pm in the library’s John F. Chick Meeting Room.
In this exploration of fairy tales, presenter Ingrid Graff will discuss these fascinating stories and why we should keep telling them to our children. Where do fairy tales come from, and what do they tell us about ourselves and our history? Why have they been censored and changed and how have they retained their currency and popularity today? Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite fairy tale to the presentation.
