Be sure to add a Library Card to your back-to-school supplies list!
Madison Library cards are free for residents of Madison 5 years of age or older. Employees of the Town, School, or businesses located in Madison also can sign up for a library at no charge, as can seasonal property owners. Nonresidents who wish to have a Madison Library card will pay a $15 fee. Library card applications must be made in person.
Library card holders can borrow a number of different types of items from the library: books, audiobooks, videos, music CDs, magazines, MP3 players, ereaders, Kill-a-Watt meters, museum passes, and even a telescope!
In addition, with a library card you can access the library’s online services: Encyclopedia Britannica, Career Cruising, NH Downloadable Books for audiobooks and ebooks, TumbleBooks for kids, plus a wide variety of subscription research and homework resources.
