Our summer story times, taking place on Fridays in July at 10:30 am, have featured a special guests from our community each week. This week, Madison Fire and Rescue’s Chief Judkins and Firefighter Colcord came to read stories about firefighters and fire safety and to allow the children to get an up-close look at a fire engine. Next week, we’ll have a member of the Madison Highway Department bring a dump truck and we’ll read stories about road construction equipment. The last story time of the summer will be on Friday, July 30 with another special guest from our community (hint: this time, we’ll get to see a tractor.) See the Madison Library’s flickr photostream for more photos from our summer story times.
