• The Girl Who Played with Fire: second installment of filmed versions of Stieg Larsson’s Millenium trilogy.
• Mid-August Lunch: a “luminous” Italian film about “the joys and regrets of old age and the pleasures of sociability,” according to the NY Times review.
• The Secret of Kells: Oscar nomination for animated film, visually stunning like the manuscript that title refers to.
• Toy Story 3: Woody and Buzz try to remain relevant.
• You Don’t Know Jack: Al Pacino disappears into role of Dr. Jack Kevorkian, an HBO film.
• Miracle on 34th Street: the classic one with Edmund Gwenn, Maureen O’Hara and Natalie Wood.
• Adventures of Milo and Otis: kids’ favorite buddy flick featuring live action cat and dog.
• Chuck Jones Collection: a set of 6 animated stories from 1970s, including Cricket in Times Square and Rikki-Tikki-Tavi.
