We’ll be open our regular hours, so stop in for books and movies, to read a magazine in one of our comfy chairs, play in the children’s room, check your email. Remember, the wifi is always on. Special things to note:

  • On Tuesday at 3 pm, kids 4 and up are invited for Earth Day stories and a get-your-hands-dirty activity.
  • Taking a long car trip? Stop in for some audio books to enjoy while riding. The best part? You can still enjoy the scenery (unless you’re the driver, of course.)
  • Check out a pass for the Portland Art Museum, free admission for 2 adults and up to 6 children.
  • Come learn how the new Carroll County Transit bus system will work on Tuesday at 6:30 pm. Remember, Madison voters supported this at town meeting and when it starts in July, the bus route will go through Madison, stopping at Silver Lake Landing and Community Market. Malcolm Longenecker from Carroll County Transit will present this info session.
