What we are doing at the Madison Library:

If you are sick, please don’t stop by the library to pick up materials. If you are sick and have overdue items, simply call or email and we will be happy to renew until you feel better.

We are not putting returned items back on the shelf for 3 hours, except for in-demand items like new videos, which we are wiping off with alcohol wipes before placing on the shelves. Swine Flu is an airborne virus and will only remain active on surfaces for about 2 hours.

We have stocked up on hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes.
