…please! We’re not the only ones thinking that everyone must be ready for a laugh with the economic news and spring still a little further off than we’d like. Vanity Fair’s April issue just arrived with a story titled “Laughing Matter” on “comedy’s new legends.”
Come to the library later this month for some our own “Laughing Matters,” a workshop on telling funny stories or jokes led by comedian and storyteller Travis Wallace. Held on two consecutive Tuesdays, the first session is Tuesday, March 24th at 1 pm, when the basic elements of a funny story will be demonstrated, and participants can start working their own funny story. For session two, on March 31st at 1 pm, particpants will come back with their own story to share. All are welcome to both sessions, active participants as well as audience members.
