The Madison Library Book Group doesn’t meet in December, so here’s a list for those who like reading recommendations (and who doesn’t?) These are all in the Madison Library’s adult collection, except for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, which is probably the funniest holiday book ever for all ages. We have lots of children’s titles, too. Please add your favorites in the comments.
The best of the best:
- Last Night at the Lobster by Stewart O’Nan
- Three Wishes by Barbara Delinsky
- The Christmas Train by David Baldacci
- A Christmas Memory by Truman Capote
- The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson (great family read-aloud)
And more:
- A Fatal Grace by Louise Penny (mystery)
- A Cedar Cove Christmas by Debbie Macomber
- This Year It Will be Different by Maeve Binchy
- Skipping Christmas by John Grisham
- Visions of Sugar Plums by Janet Evanovich
- The Christmas Tree by Julie Salamon
