With the recent snowy weather, calling the library (367-8545) before heading over during or right after a snowstorm is a good idea. Closing announcements will be made on the answering machine. As a rule of thumb, if school is closed, we will be, too, unless a storm ends early in the day and our lot is plowed before a 2:00 opening time. Town road crews do a great job plowing the lot and shoveling the entrances, but their work on the roads comes first, so the library lot is often cleaned up at the end of a storm, not during.
