Kim Hamilton

Kim Hamilton received a BFA with a concentration in Photography/ Video from
Montserrat College of Art, Beverly, MA in 2018. She works with digital photography as
well as using 35mm and Holga film to make scans, prints, and if she’s lucky silver
gelatin prints.
Kim firmly believes that photographs are memories caught on film; a snapshot of
personal history that can be interpreted in so many ways. It’s the preservation of these
memories that led her to digital restoration. By scanning photographs and then digitally
restoring them she wants to rejuvenate and preserve memories that may have been lost
otherwise.
In 2022 Kim started her business Hamilton Digital Restoration & Photography where
she works to create or restore photographs so the art of photography continues to thrive.

The exhibit is open during regular Madison Library hours in the downstairs John F. Chick Room through the month of April 2024.

The library’s Chick Room has exhibit space for hanging artwork, and two-month-long art shows featuring local artists are planned throughout the year. Artists interested in exhibiting at the library are invited to review our Artistic Display Policy and Agreement, and contact us to arrange an exhibit time.

We are always looking for artists interested in displaying their work for two-month blocks.
