PJBC meets tonight

At 7 pm, the PJ Book Club for kids will discuss Blue Balliett’s Chasing Vermeer, a mystery with lots of layers, puzzles, and coincidences. The painting is “A Lady Writing a Letter” and it plays an important role in the story.

PJ book club off to a good start

Last evening, 7 children came for the first meeting of the PJ book club. We handed out copies of the book we’re reading for next month’s reading, Chasing Vermeer by Blue Balliett, and talked about what kinds of books that they would like to read for future meetings.The group decided on Dial-A-Ghost by Eva Ibbotson [...]
