We’re looking for people interested in collecting oral histories for our Madison Library Local History Project. Please join us on Wednesday, February 11 at 4 pm in the library’s John F. Chick Room for an informational meeting.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Tell their stories
- Conduct interviews
- Help with recording and post-production of recorded interviews
We will discuss topics that would be good ones for oral history interviews, and go over the types of volunteer tasks involved with this project. Training will be scheduled at a later date for interviewers and for people interested in learning how to work on recordings.
