The Director of the Madison Library, Mary Cronin, has informed the Library Board of Trustees that she has accepted another position of employment and will be leaving in March 2015. The Trustees of the Library thank Mary for her years of hard work and dedication to make the Madison Library a center of friendship, learning, and creativity. People in the area enjoy each other’s company at library programs; volunteers scan vital statistics, historic photos and journals related to our local history; library patrons get up to speed on the latest computer glitches and fixes, and toddlers, tots, and teens enjoy special events. You can even pick up a book or two.

We’re indebted to Mary for providing the strong foundation–including the recent functional improvements–for her successor to build on. The Trustees will make every attempt to conclude its search for a new director prior to Mary’s departure.
